Working for longstanding client John Lewis, we completed the two-phased fit out of the company’s headquarters on Victoria Street in Central London.

As part of the first phase, we converted two floors of flats to office space, which included the full mechanical and electrical services as well as the fit-out. The second phase involved the reconfiguration of an adjacent seven-storey building in readiness for staff relocating from another location.

Our biggest challenge was converting the flats to a new use – on one side of our sound-proofed hoardings were live offices while on the other side we were surrounded by residential properties, a school and Westminster Cathedral – which meant that we had to carry out major demolitions in near silence, and complete works to a high quality.
