Stevenage-based building and refurbishment specialist, Conamar, is proud to announce its support for the under 13’s Bluesox Wanderers, part of the Stevenage Borough Juniors Football Club, with a £1,000 sponsorship deal.
Ben Storey, the Bluesox Wanderers’ manager, said: “This is a great club and the way it offers social, training and playing opportunities for so many players deserves the support of local businesses. Conamar’s contribution will help towards maintaining our home ground, provide playing and training kit, and will also support the development and promotion of the club.”
Neil Dower, Managing Director at Conamar, added: “At Conamar, we believe that sport is important for everyone – from the health benefits that proper exercise brings, to persistence, team spirit and the ability to recover from setbacks and succeed. Money raising activities and sponsors are really important for local football teams, helping to provide facilities and coaching for its players. We hope that our support of the Bluesox Wanderers will go a long way in helping to further develop the team this season.”
The Bluesox Wanderers are currently second in the Royston Crow Youth Football League. This season they have played 16 matches, won 12, drawn one and lost three.
As well as supporting the Bluesox Wanderers, Conamar also sponsors a number of other sporting clubs in our area, including bigger names such as Letchworth Garden City RFC, Letchworth Eagles FC and grass roots club Weston RFC.
