We are pleased to report that we won two awards, ‘Medium Business of the Year’ and the coveted overall prize for ‘Company of the Year’ at this year’s Hertfordshire Business Awards, with the judges describing Conamar as an outstanding local business. The 2014 event was hosted by local BBC news anchorman Stewart White at an evening ceremony on Thursday 27th November at Knebworth Barns.

On winning the Medium Business of the Year, the judges said: “Conamar has managed well throughout the recession in a challenging sector, keeping core staff employed. They have a desirable client base with several blue chip clients generating repeat business. Staff are invested in with professional qualifications, and the business adapts well from large commercial multi-million pound builds to small refurbishments. Future plans are also well defined, generating continued growth.”

We also won the Company of the Year award, the judges said: “2015 looks to be a very exciting year for the business with some large projects already confirmed that will propel Conamar to the next level. With both brothers bringing different skills to the table they dovetail perfectly making this business a success, proof of this is evident in the financial and logistical planning that has already taken place for next year’s projects. We wish them all the success and hope to see them again soon.”
