Conamar gives Camden Primary School a boost

Conamar has completed construction on a project for Christopher Hatton Primary School in Camden. The £263,000 scheme at 38 Laystall Street in EC1 involves building a new reception room with a children’s play area.

The project’s top challenge is the severe lack of space on site, which has been overcome by obtaining storage and parking space in an adjacent building owned by Camden Council.

Neil Dower, Managing Director of Conamar said: “We are delighted to be working on this scheme for Christopher Hatton Primary, which is going to enhance the school for pupils, teachers and parents alike.”

Conamar has a strong track record in the education sector, having worked on a wide range of institutions, from university level to nursery. Past projects include a new campus and multiple refurbishments for the University of Bedfordshire, and the extensive refurbishment of Barnwell School in Stevenage.
