Following a large flood with over 1,200 cubic feet of water passing through the building’s interior, the CE Building on the West Cambridge Campus was in desperate need of some care, and the University approached Conamar to tender for the project.

The building was thoroughly dried out and had structural surveys undertaken to ascertain the structural stability of the building prior to the main works taking place.

Our works involved the reconfiguration and replacement of internal walls, suspended ceilings and new floor coverings through the six storey building. We also undertook some repairs to existing, damaged, M&E elements and lab furniture.
