Clarence Park Pavilion

Conamar have secured both phases of works for the Historic Clarence Park pavilion – the first was directly negotiated through the Scape framework, which take schemes from initial feasibility study through to completion, and the second phase was secured through open market competitive single stage tender to meet the client’s procurement guidelines.

The works comprise the restoration, reconfiguration and refurbishment of the Clarence Park pavilion.

The first phase of works saw us undertake repairs and redecoration of timber and metal work, and carry out brick work cleaning and upgrades to the internal fire doors, the roof and RWGs. The second phase of works comprised reconfiguration works to create changing rooms & associated shower/wc facilities including DDA compliant rooms.

Client testimonial:

“I am delighted we have completed the first phase of this ambitious project despite the challenging financial climate. The Pavilion is a magnificent building, a striking feature of the Clarence Park area that has stood for more than 125 years. It is an outstanding renovation and we have now turned our attention to upgrading the interior. Our aim is to ensure that the facilities are of the highest standard and accessible, so that all players, including women and girls, can enjoy a welcoming and safe environment.” – Cllr Chris white, St. Albans District Council
