Conamar were awarded the contract to improve facilities for St Catherine’s College in Cambridge.

The College received planning permission from Cambridge City Council in April for future improvements to the accommodation and shared facilities available for students living at the St Chad’s site on Grange Road in Cambridge.

This will complement the existing and very popular second-year accommodation and green space already on the site.

The project involves two new Cross Laminated Timer Frame blocks of accommodation consisting of 23 modern student rooms, including two new accessible rooms.

There will be a generous communal space on the ground floor of the Old House for all students to enjoy. The project is being carried out in a live environment.

The team have already completed the demolition works, groundworks and recently completed the concrete floor pouring for building 2.
