This NHS project was the development of a new secure mental health facility in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, replacing a one-storey reception area with a new two-storey building providing 2,239 sq ft (208 sq m) of space.

The new, DDA-compliant facility includes a reception, a kitchen on the ground floor, and offices, meeting rooms and welfare facilities for the in-house staff above.

This project was undertaken on a live site, which meant that Conamar had to work to strict protocols to ensure security at the facility was maintained during the project.
