The project involved the replacement of the sprinkler system and refurbishment works to Middleton Hall. The project was undertaken predominantly overnight, with the centre live during the day. The project consisted of three main phases;

Phase 1 consisted of the replacement of the Middleton Hall ceiling, sprinkler system and associated M&E. The work also included smoke control curtains and vents.

Phase 2A included flooring works and all other remaining works in the areas of Middleton Hall and adjoining high malls.

Phase 2B consisted of the remaining works to the JLP high flanks and Gold walk ceilings.

The strip out works occurred in a sequential manner across the ‘bays’. Existing services were isolated and drained down.
