As work progressed on the office refurbishment for MBDA, our scope of work evolved to include creating a new 12,916 sq ft (2,000 sq m) atrium area in the western courtyard so that the space could be used for hosting events, presentations, VIP visits, hospitality, break out space and seating for up to 250 people.
The logistics of changing the internal courtyard into a covered atrium were particularly complex, as was the need for this to be done as part of a live working environment with all team members requiring government security check clearance before work could start.
