There are many office refurbishment companies who have helped businesses return to conventional environments. It’s not hard to see why, since despite the comfort provided by home working, this can’t replicate the same atmosphere you get in communal spaces. Are you looking to get office refurbishments completed? Then take a look at some of our previous work below.
Throgmorton Avenue, London
This particular site was based on a narrow one way street in London. One of the key restrictions we had to deal with was a tight corner found at the entrance, and that meant deliveries were made in much smaller quantities to ensure smooth transition into the main working area. The project itself took place on the third floor in an existing occupied building, where the other floors remained live throughout our time working. We minimised disruption to other floors by erecting an external scaffold hoist at the front elevation, after which, we removed a window to provide access for our team.
Unit 204 Cambridge Science Park, University of Cambridge
Here, we managed to refurbish a science block which contained offices, labs, kitchenettes and toilettes. Our team firstly demolished the interior stud and block walls, and from there, we replaced both the fire rated stud walls and new fire rated doors. Existing flooring was then stripped away, where we then installed vinyl into the labs and corridors, however, carpet tiles were fitted into the offices. Both internal and external redecoration works were also completed, and this involved fascia, soffits, windows, doors and fencing.
SBC Freeline Labs, Stevenage
The commercial refurbishment here was large in scope, involving the reconfiguration of existing areas from being open plan into brand new laboratory spaces with new walls and ceilings. We also made extensive alterations and extensions to existing mechanical and electrical services. Throughout the project, we continually worked out of hours and laid out special measures to avoid environmental nuisance to current users. Key considerations were made about how we could reduce noise, dust and vibration wherever possible.
Chart Street Offices, London
A complete commercial fit out, structural reconfiguration and extension to the roof levels were undertaken during this project. The extension was a double height vertical structure, created with hybrid steel and CLT solutions. Our main consideration was making the building open plan with interior aesthetics which exposed concrete soffits, new steel beams and columns. A bespoke scaffold system was also developed to ensure our team was suitably protected.
Glaxo Smith Kline, Stevenage
We demolished and stripped out existing office and meeting areas to create an open plan concept. This was another project where careful consideration was made about minimising disruption to other floors on the building, so external materials hoists and gantries were deployed to reduce the amount of direct access. Keeping noise levels down was also essential, so we made sure especially loud work was conducted outside of normal operating hours.
Robinson Low Francis (RLF), Finsbury Square, London
Conamar refurbished a vacant office suite in an occupied building. This was undertaken through a Contractors Design contract, where the project included works for data cabling, glazed partitions, breakout facilities and more. The rest of the building was occupied during the project, so we made sure to programme noisy work where possible.
