Conamar has started on site for a new £1 million industrial scheme in Letchworth, Hertfordshire on a development by Packington Estate Enterprises Limited, managed by Imperial Square Developments.

The development, on Works Road, comprises five units ranging from 2,573 sq ft (239 sq m) to 4,672 sq ft (434 sq m) are aimed at light industrial market. They will form a single terrace with external works, drainage, access road, car parking and landscaping. Work is expected to be completed in August 2010.

Neil Dower, Managing Director of Conamar said: “These units are aimed at small electronics and distribution companies looking for high quality space that is close to the nearby motorway network and convenient for London, the Home Counties and the East Midlands.”

Archers are the architects for the project and Mason Navarro Pledge are the structural and consulting engineers, both appointed by Conamar. The selling agents are Brown and Lee in Stevenage.
