Building and refurbishment specialist, Conamar, has appointed Trudy Stripp to the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager at its head office in Stevenage.

With more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and business development roles, Trudy will be working closely with Neil Dower, Managing Director at Conamar, to support new business engagement, manage client relationships, and promote and communicate the firm’s brand to its stakeholders.

Trudy joins from Kier Group, where she was the Corporate Brand Manager responsible for updating and maintaining the Kier brand, as well as rebranding Group companies and acquisitions. Trudy also helped position Kier as a leading player in the marketplace, creating a new brand strategy and identity used across the multi-disciplinary group.

Prior to this, Trudy was the Divisional Marketing and Business Development Manager for Kier Services, working across 14 companies. Her role involved launching a cohesive brand name and identity that included all of Kier Services’ divisional companies.
