Conamar has completed the second phase of improvements to the John Lewis flagship store on Oxford Street, introducing new concepts to the menswear and beauty departments.
The menswear department on the ground floor, home to Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren has increased in size by 2,000 sq ft to 17,000 sq ft, with a sleek and modern design that mirrors the menswear department at Peter Jones in Sloane Square.
Conamar has also completed an 18,000 sq ft refurbishment of John Lewis Oxford Street’s beauty hall – the world’s tenth best-selling beauty department – expanding it by 50 per cent. The new layout introduced a range of new brands focusing on fragrance and niche assortments such as haircare, skincare, and nailsin stands around a central sales area, complementing the existing beauty brands already established at the store.
John Lewis Implementation Manager, Julian White, said: “The pace with which the project was developed, delivered and launched so quickly without compromising the quality is testament to the team’s hard work.”
Neil Dower, Managing Director of Conamar, said: “Working in a live environment to deliver these significant improvements for John Lewis has resulted in a more efficient and attractive environment for shoppers, in good time for London 2012 and the increase in business the games are expected to bring to Central London retailers.”
