Family-run building contractor Conamar has been appointed to complete a full refurbishment of MBDA’s 20Z office at its Filton site in Bristol.

MBDA is a world leader in missiles and missile systems; its current office space in 20Z is spread over three floors. The refurbishment work being undertaken includes: a full strip out of existing mechanical and electrical services, stud partitions, flooring and ceilings, which includes a new Armstrong suspended ceiling system and new Interface carpet tiles throughout; relocating the plant room and refurbishing the existing passenger lift, and reinstating new mechanical and electrical services, including new fire alarms, and a data/communications system.

Neil Dower, Managing Director of Conamar, said: “This is an exciting and challenging project. The team will be working in a live environment which means that all work needs to take place with minimum disruption to the client. We will do this by carrying out work floor by floor while MBDA continue occupy the rest of the building.”
