Corporate Social Responsibility
At Conamar we take our responsibilities as an employer seriously. We aim to set an example by operating in an ethical and openly transparent way. Corporate social responsibility doesn´t just encompass the safety and welfare of our staff and minimising the environmental impact our operations have; it also means trying to give something back to the communities in which we work.
To that end our joinery division offers roles to apprentice joiners in association with the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) and provides work experience through local schools to give taster sessions to pupils.
Not only do we continually seek to improve the sustainability of our own corporate and social activities, but we actively encourage our supply chain to work with us for a wider-reaching positive impact on the environment and communities around us.
