Con Dower: Chairman
Con Dower is Conamar’s founder and chairman. It’s his entrepreneurial vision and emphasis on delivering quality for clients every time that has made us so successful for more than 30 years.
Con plays a largely strategic role in our company’s operations, but conducts regular meetings and project reviews with all members of the management team to ensure that the company continues to deliver on its promises. His overriding philosophy is to create an ethos of mutual trust and partnership.
Neil Dower: Managing Director
As managing director, Neil has ultimate responsibility for business planning and strategy implementation. But he’s also responsible for winning new work, maintaining client relationships and leading the business and its staff.
His blend of construction expertise, hands-on management and open and approachable manner has helped the business grow in a controlled and sustainable way. He has a strong leadership style, a strategic outlook, and the proven ability to deliver multimillion pound contracts within tight deadlines and budgets.
Paul Dower: Financial Director
As finance director, Paul is in charge of all the business’s finance and accounts, including ensuring that financial strategies support the broader corporate aims of the business, managing the company’s accounting function, and implementing processes, controls, procedures and systems.
Gary Madgin: Contracts Director
Gary is one of our home-grown success stories, joining us as a van driver and working his way up to director level. He brings to Conamar’s clients a strategic, long-term view of project goals and he has been vital to the delivery of many of our more complex projects.
Gary is involved in project acquisitions and management, with a particular focus on forging long-term relationships with defence and pharmaceutical clients. He also takes a hands-on role in project delivery.
John O’Donnell: Contracts Director
John has spent the past two decades working on retail sector fit-outs, predominantly for his main blue chip city centre clients. Time and again he’s delivered multimillion pound projects, on time, within budget and to our clients’ great delight.
As one of our contracts directors, John is responsible for project acquisitions and then management from concept to completion. As is the Conamar way, he’s involved throughout project planning and construction and always accessible to our team and our clients.
Kevin Morris: Pre-Construction and Design Director
As Pre-Construction & Design Director, Kevin is in charge of all tender and framework bids and takes responsibility for all projects from inception to commencement on site. This includes developing technical bid submissions whilst ensuring a cost effective and quality submission is provided to the Client for each project discussed.
Kevin’s experience of securing and delivering multi million pound projects along with personal accreditations such as MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders) and BREEAM AP (Accredited Professional) is key to ensuring a quality service is provided to all our clients.
